The model 568 brings state of the art technology to the testing of electrical products. The Model contains all the features found on testers costing several times as much. If your application requires compliance with the dielectric and ground bond testing of UL, CSA, VDE or TUV then this is the tester for you.

Available options provide outputs up to 5,000 VAC or 2,500 VDC. The model 568 combines both Ground Bond and Hi-Pot tests into single tester. It is designed to test completed products as well as components and products without power cords with a high voltage probe option 40561. The Model 568 brings state of the art technology to the testing of electrical products.

Ease of Operation
The product's ground bond and dielectric strength can be tested with the push of one button.
|
|
Adjustable Output Voltage
Adjustable 0-2,500 VAC (or up to 5,000 VAC or 2,500 VDC with available options). The output voltage displayed on a kilovolt meter.

Direct Reading Leakage Meter
A scale of 0-10 mAAC ( 0-1.0 mADC on option 40568) displays the true fault leakage current to help the operator identify marginal product.

Ground Bond Verification
Product's ground bond can be selected on or off and verified prior and during dielecric test.
|
|
Test Duration Timer
Test Duration of 1 second, 60 seconds or continuous is selectable on rear panel.
|
|
Automatic Shut Down
Excessive leakage or dielectric flash over or failure of the product's ground continuity causes automatic shutdown of the output test voltage.

|
Visual and Audible Alarms
Both visual and audible alarms alert the operator of an out of tolerance condition. The Reset button must be operated to continue.

Fast Response
The tester uses a fast response detection circuit to detect even short duration arcs or breakdowns that might occur. Once a fault is detected, the test circuit opens within milliseconds.

Meets UL's 120K Ohm Test
The UL 120K Ohm test requirement can be verified by pushing the test button.
