A single button tests both dielectric strength and ground wire continuity. 

Output test voltages are adjustable over the range of 0-2,500 VAC or 0-2,500 VDC as displayed on a digital kilovolt meter.

True fault leakage is displayed on the digital meter in ranges of 0-10 mA AC or 0-1.0 mA DC, allowing the operator to identify marginal product.

Products can be plugged in or contacted with the optional high voltage probe, allowing both completed products and components to be tested.

Test durations of one second, 60 seconds or continuous are selectable on the rear panel. 

Excessive leakage, dielectric flashover or ground continuity failure shuts off the output test voltage.

Both visual and audible alarms alert the operator of an out of tolerance condition. The reset button must be pressed to continue testing.

The tester uses a fast response detection circuit to detect even short duration arcs or breakdowns that might occur. Once a fault is detected, the test circuit opens within milliseconds.

The UL 120K ohm test standard is available on the front panel for ease of use.
