Hi-Pot/Continuity Tester
0-2,500 Volt, AC or DC Dielectric and Ground Continuity Tester

Model 567
Full Feature AC/DC Hi-Pot/Ground Continuity Tester

Hi-pot (hi pot, hipot or flash) testers and dielectric strength testers are typically used to perform electrical safety testing on components and products to insure that they comply with the safety requirements of UL, CSA, TUV and other standard certifying bodies.

The Model 567 offers AC and DC Hi-Pot testing as well as ground continuity testing at the lowest price of any tester of its type on the market today. This TUV certified tester allows you to test electrical products in compliance with UL and CSA requirements.

It is designed to test completed products as well as components and products without power cords. The Model 567 brings state of the art technology to the testing of electrical products.

This tester performs the same functions as models sold by other companies but at a much lower price and without the complex features that confuse production employees.

An Easy to Use Product at a Practical Price!

Ease of Operation
A single button tests both dielectric strength and ground wire continuity.

Adjustable Output Voltages
Output test voltages are adjustable over the range of 0-2,500 VAC or 0-2,500 VDC as displayed on a digital kilovolt meter.

Direct Reading Leakage Meter
True fault leakage is displayed on the digital meter in ranges of 0-10 mA AC or 0-1.0 mA DC, allowing the operator to identify marginal product.

Choice of Test Methods
Products can be plugged in or contacted with the optional high voltage probe, allowing both completed products and components to be tested.

Test Duration Timer
Test durations of one second, 60 seconds or continuous are selectable on the rear panel.

Automatic Shut Down
Excessive leakage, dielectric flashover or ground continuity failure shuts off the output test voltage.

Visual and Audible Alarms
Both visual and audible alarms alert the operator of an out of tolerance condition. The reset button must be pressed to continue testing.

Fast Response
The tester uses a fast response detection circuit to detect even short duration arcs or breakdowns that might occur. Once a fault is detected, the test circuit opens within milliseconds.

Meets UL's 120K Ohm Test
The UL 120K ohm test standard is available on the front panel for ease of use.
