Model 352

If you need to test electrical products, this is the tester for you!

This is an economical solution for lower volume production lines, repair stations and rental centers that must verify the safety and performance of electrical products.

The SHORT STOP Model 352 allows you to test for short circuits, continuity of the ground wire, dielectric strength, leakage current and current draw, all in one tester. It even tests extension cords. You will not find a better value. It’s fast and easy! Just plug in the tool, attach the ground clip and operate the push buttons 1-5. No special skill or training required.

The Model 352 is in use by thousands of electrical repair shops and manufactures such as Black and Decker, Makita, S-B Tools, Milwaukee Electric Tool, Graco Inc., In-Sink-Erator and Master Appliance.

Full 20A Current Capacity
All 120V power tools in common use can be tested.

Low Maintenance
The Model 352 SHORT STOP offers solid state electronic circuits, dependable neon displays, and components recognized by Underwriters Laboratories.

Tests Quality of Ground Wire
The quality and continuity of the ground circuit is measured. Poor quality ground connections are rejected.

Dielectric Strength (Hi-Pot)
Adjustable 0-3000 Volts AC test voltage allows the integrity of the product’s insulation to be verified. It complies with UL’s 120K Ohms requirement.

Line to Line Short
Tester activates a Short-Line lamp and locks out all other circuits if line to line impedance of item under test is three ohms or less. This protects the item under test and the tester’s internal circuits.

Line to Case Short
Tester activates a Short-Case lamp if the line to case fault current exceeds 10 milliamps.

Verifies Tool Performance
Multi-scale ammeter reads the product’s current drawn. This helps identify defective bearings, gear trains, shorted coils or poor brush contact.

Direct Reading Leakage Meter
Displays actual leakage current with good, marginal and danger levels clearly shown.

Tests extension cords
A built-in extension cord tester checks continuity and ground wire resistance.

Dual Scale Ammeter
Current draw by the product is displayed on a dual scale ammeter. The upper scale reads 0-20 amperes, the lower scale reads 0-5 amperes.

Direct Reading Dielectric Kilovolt Meter
Displays the actual Dielectric Strength test voltage of a scale of 0-3000 VAC.

Self Test
Provides a built-in reference for self-verification of leakage measurement.

User Friendly
The Number 1 to 5 test push buttons and the PASS and FAIL lamps make it so easy that employees are encouraged to check their tools before each use.
